Some people have straight forward fetishes such as a foot fetish for example. Then other people have extremely biazrre fetishes like eating hair. So I suppose a gas mask fetish is somewhere in between. When fetishes spring to mind, it’s probably not the first on a lot of people’s list, but those who love it really love it. And I am one of those people!
Gas masks and respirators are functional and durable and made for industrial purposes. So they’re not usually a staple in most people’s wardrobes. Unless you’re either in the miliatary, a kinkster or a combination of the two! So besides My obvious latex fetish, I have a few niche fetishes. I enjoy military role play and uniforms, which was the basis of one of My previous projects called INTERROGATION BOOTCAMP. Within the military fetish, gas masks are an obvious inclusion to the fun and games.
I’m not entirely sure where My obsession for gas masks stems from. When I was a child, My parents had a box of WW2 military memorabilia in the basement that I used to rummage through. There was a vintage gas mask in the mix which always piqued My curiosity. Or maybe I grew up watching too many sci-fi movies with apocalypse themes. I have always identified with the villaness archetype so maybe I fancy Myself as a female Darth Vader. Most probably it is the cloaked quality that a gas mask will give any fetish outfit. When I dress in latex, wearing a gas mask will add an element of the bizarre. In a heavy scene, it adds intensity to the overall setting which I particularly enjoy.
While I enjoy wearing latex hoods, sensory deprivation or breath play are not personal turn ons for Me (although I enjoy doing it to slaves). I’m a control freak so I’ll never be found wearing a blindfold, gagged or something extreme as a sensory deprivation hood. But gas masks and respirators are where I make the exception. It slows the breathing down and makes each breath more focused and punctuated. Perhaps it’s the lack of oxygen that makes one giddy. If you’ve never worn a gas mask during sex, it is something I highly recommend trying! The restricted breathing when you’re in the throws of passion adds an extra layer of eroticism. Plus it is kinky as fuck if you ask Me!
